Good Morning House… Dec 30 /18

I need you to know that I’m fully aware that the journey I’m about to take with you is all about self-discovery. You are my inspiration, the vision I hold dear to my heart that will help me discover who I am. So for this, I thank you at the beginning. 

Thank you for being beside me, never judging me, always accepting and never leaving my ideas adrift.

When I walked by you this morning I realized you have no idea who I am. You were dark and felt cold. I walked by and said, “Good morning, and you stared back, wondering who that was that just greeted you.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am currently on a journey seeking self-love and worthiness. Self-awareness and calm. I have four amazing values I am trying to work into my everyday, they are creativity, curiosity, courage and community.

When I look at you I see you live by these values already. I admire also another value you have which is commitment. It is winter right now and I can just make out your eyes behind the tangled branches that when the warm weather comes will completely cover your view of the beautiful lake in front of you. I so admire your commitment to keep standing and serving your people.

I hope one day you will be able to open your heart to me. I know this will take time and I am willing to wait. In the meantime, I will, every chance I get, sit on your break wall and look out at the water for you in hopes that you will get to know me better and that one day, you will let me clear those branches so you can see the beauty that awaits you.
